RECORDING AND FILMING ARRANGEMENTS.

At the start of the meeting the Chair addressed the Sub Committee and attendees to advise them that Agenda Item Number 7 was being brought forward to be heard following Agenda Item 4.

There were no apologies for absence.

 

2.

DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST.

There were no declarations of interest made at the beginning or during the course of the meeting.

Members considered the 4 public interest tests certificate from the Proper Officer and concluded that on balance the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighed the public interest in disclosing the information and it was

 

RESOLVED that in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the remainder of the meeting because of the likely disclosure to them of exempt information as        identified in paragraph 12 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.

LICENSING OF HACKNEY CARRIAGE/PRIVATE HIRE VEHICLE DRIVERS AND VEHICLE PROPRIETOR LICENCE.

Minutes:

Mr Lee Morgan (Licensing Manager) addressed the Sub Committee to advise that the agenda item was withdrawn as a result of an inaccuracy identified in the report.

LICENSING OF HACKNEY CARRIAGE /PRIVATE HIRE VEHICLE DRIVERS.

Minutes:

Having regard to the Officer’s report and all the representations made, and for the reasons disclosed at the meeting, the Sub Committee unanimously RESOLVED that the application for the grant of a hackney carriage/private hire vehicle driver’s licence be refused.

 

The applicant was informed of their right of appeal within 21 days following receipt of the written decision notice to appeal to the local Magistrates Court.

 

6.

LICENSING OF HACKNEY CARRIAGE /PRIVATE HIRE VEHICLE DRIVERS.

Minutes:

Having regard to the Officer’s report and all the representations made, and for the reasons disclosed at the meeting, the Sub Committee unanimously RESOLVED that the application for the grant of a hackney carriage/private hire vehicle driver’s licence be refused.

 

The applicant was informed of their right of appeal within 21 days following receipt of the written decision notice to appeal to the local Magistrates Court.

 

7.

LICENSING OF HACKNEY CARRIAGE /PRIVATE HIRE VEHICLE DRIVERS.

Minutes:

Having regard to the Officer’s report and all the representations made, and for the reasons disclosed at the meeting, the Sub Committee unanimously RESOLVED that the application for the grant of a hackney carriage/private hire vehicle driver’s licence be granted.

 

The applicant was informed of their right of appeal within 21 days following receipt of the written decision notice to appeal to the local Magistrates Court.
