Apologies for absence were received from Councillors Mrs J. Gale, Mrs B. Miles, L. Whittle and W. Williams.  It was noted that Councillor Mrs E.M. Aldworth was attending as substitute for Councillor Mrs J. Gale and Councillor J. Taylor was attending as substitute for Councillor L. Whittle.

There were no declarations of interest received and the commencement or during the course of the meeting.

Members considered the public interest test certificates from the Proper Officer and concluded that on balance the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighed the public interest in disclosing the information.  By show of hands this was unanimously agreed.

RESOLVED that in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the remainder of the meeting because of the likely disclosure to them of exempt information as identified in paragraphs 12 and 14 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.

Following detailed discussion of the applications it was moved and seconded that the recommendations within the report be approved.  By show of hands this was unanimously agreed.

            RESOLVED that: -

(i)            The application for early retirement by mutual consent on the grounds of business efficiency with access to non-actuarially reduced pension under the Teachers Pension Scheme be approved.

(ii)           The 3 applications for voluntary severance applications with access to non-actuarially reduced pension benefits under the Local Government Pension Scheme be approved.

Following detailed discussion of the application it was moved and seconded that the recommendation within the report be approved.  By show of hands this was unanimously agreed.

RESOLVED that the application for Voluntary Severance with access to non-actuarially reduced pension benefits under the Local Government Pension Scheme be approved.
