Apologies for absence were received from Councillors Mrs J. Gale, D.T. Hardacre, B. Miles and L. Whittle.  It was noted that Cllr J. Taylor was attending as substitute for Councillor L. Whittle and Councillor J. Simmonds was attending as substitute for Councillor J. Gale.

There were no declarations of interest at the beginning or during the course of the meeting.

Members considered the public interest test certificates from the Proper Officer and concluded that on balance the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighed the public interest in disclosing the information.  By show of hands this was unanimously agreed.

RESOLVED that in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the remainder of the meeting because of the likely disclosure to them of exempt information as identified in paragraphs 12 and 14 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.

Consideration was given to the report that sought approval for four applications as part of the school workforce remodeling programme 2019.

Following detailed discussion of the applications it was moved and seconded that the recommendations within the report be approved.  By show of hands this was unanimously agreed.

RESOLVED that two applications for early retirement by mutual concern on the grounds of business efficiency with access to non-actuarially reduced pension benefits under the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) be approved.

RESOLVED that an application for voluntary redundancy with access to non-actually reduced pension benefits under the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) be approved.

RESOLVED that an application for voluntary severance with access to non-actuarially reduced pension benefits under the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) be approved.
