6. 21st Century Schools and Colleges Band B Programme - Update on Phase 2.

  • Councillor James Pritchard - Personal - Councillor Prichard declared a person interest in that he is a Local Authority Appointed Governor at Plasyfelin Primary School as such there was no requirement for him to leave the meeting and could take full part in the debate and vote. He also declared this interest at a PDM held on 8th September 2021.
  • Councillor Shayne Cook - Personal - Councillor Cook declared a personal interest in that he is a Local Authority Appointed Governor at Plasyfelin Primary School, as such there was no requirement for him to leave the meeting and he could take full part in the debate and vote.

9. Outcome of Public Consultation on a Proposed Community Hall in Ty Sign, Risca.

  • Councillor Nigel George - Personal and Prejudicial - Councillor Nigel George declared a personal and prejudicial interest in that is he on the Comittee of the Channel View Community Centre as well as other Community Groups in the area and as such he left he meeting when the matter was considered and took no part in the debate and vote.
  • Councillor Ross Whiting - Personal and Prejudicial - Councillor Ross Whiting declared a personal and pejudicial interest in that he is on the Committee of the Channel View Community Centre and as such he left the meeting when the matter was considered and took no part in the debate and vote.

6. 21st Century Schools and Colleges Band B Programme - Community Engagement Report: Plasyfelin Primary School.

  • Councillor James Pritchard - Personal - Councillor J. Pritchard declared a personal interest in relation to Agenda Item No. 6 - 21st Century Schools and Colleges Band B Programme – Community Engagement Report: Plasyfelin Primary School, in that he is a Local Authority Appointed Governor at Plasyfelin Primary School, as this was a personal interest only there was no requirement for him to leave the meeting and could take full part in the debate and vote.
  • Councillor Shayne Cook - Personal and Prejudicial - Councillor S. Cook declared a personal interest in relation to Agenda Item No. 6 -21st Century Schools and Colleges Band B Programme – Community Engagement Report: Plasyfelin Primary School in that he is a Local Authority Appointed Governor at Plasyfelin Primary School and a personal and prejudicial interest in that his daughter is starting nursey at Plasyfelin in April, and as such he would leave the meeting when the matter was considered and take no part in the debate and vote.

5. Housing Revenue Account Charges - 2022/2023.

  • Councillor Eluned Stenner - Personal and Prejudicial - Cllr E. Stenner declared a personal and prejudicial interest in relation to Agenda Item No. 5 - Housing Revenue Account Charges - 2022/2023 in that her brother-in-law has a garage tenancy with the authority and as such she would leave the meeting when the matter was considered and take no part in the debate and vote.

Pritchard declared a personal and prejudicial interest in relation to Agenda Item No. 5 - Housing Revenue Account Charges - 2022/2023 in that his grandparents are Council tenants and as such he would leave the meeting when the matter was considered and take no part in the debate and vote.
